Pioneer Days contestants register June 21

Lander Pioneer Days Rodeo contestants for July 3 and 4 Rodeo
need to enter this Saturday, June 21 between 12-5 p.m. by calling in their entries to the Lander Old Timer’s Rodeo Association (LOTRA) phone numbers: 307-349-8070, 307-349-8108, and 307-349-1981. More information is available at https://www.lotra.org/rodeo-contestant-entry

There will be increased payouts of $20,000 added to the 131st Fremont Toyota Pioneer Days Rodeo, known as “The World’s Oldest Paid Rodeo,” held July 3rd and 4th in Lander, Wyoming. For rodeo roughstock and steer wrestling contestants, $1,000 of added money will be paid out each night. A new event is the Women’s Ranch Bronc Riding event! Contestants for this women’s roughstock event, along with Men’s Ranch Bronc Riding, Bull Riding, Saddle and Bareback Bronc Riding, and Steer Wrestling, will be competing for the added money July 3 and July 4. The Men’s and Women’s Indian Relay Races also have $1000 added money each night, plus $500 added for the Youth Indian Relay Race.
