Roller derby team hosting open skate, recruitment nights

The Fremont County Roller Derby team is hosting weekly open skate and recruitment nights starting this Thursday, September 16, from 6-9 pm at the Fremont Center at the fairgrounds.

A $5 cover charge gets you open skate from 6-7 pm, basic roller derby skills from 7-8 pm, and hitting drills and scrimmaging from 8-9 pm.

The Cherry Bombs will host this every Thursday evening starting this week through November 18.

“Everyone over 18 is encouraged to come have some fun to just skate or to start learning how to play roller derby!!” shared Cherry Bomb Christina Rorabaugh.
