The City of Lander Mayor and Council have work sessions meetings the fourth Tuesday of each month. All meetings are subject to cancellation or change. Public meetings are held before the Council meetings or as advertised.
Wyoming Legislature - Select Committee on Blockchain, Financial Technology and Digital Innovation Technology
The purpose of this meeting is to continue the Select Committee's interim work. The Select Committee will receive updates from the University of Wyoming?s (UW) Center for Blockchain and Digital Innovation, the UW College of Law, and the Office of U.S. Senator Cynthia Lummis. The Committee will consider bill drafts related to the Wyoming Stable Token, digital assets, blockchain interruptible service tariffs, Special Purpose Depository Institutions, Decentralized Unincorporated Nonprofit Associations, data privacy, and virtual currency kiosks. In addition, the Committee will review its enabling legislation to consider potential amendments and examine bill drafts concerning the right to repair digital electronic equipment and automatic subscription renewal and cancellation.
