Meadowlark Market and Kitchen is seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented individual to join our passionate leadership team as Treasurer on our volunteer Board of Directors.
Over the past year, Meadowlark has grown into a vital hub for local food in our region:
Supported over 100 local food producers
Generated over $300,000 in revenue
Built strong partnerships with Central Wyoming College (CWC), EatWyoming, Wind River Food Sovereignty, and the Lander Care & Share Food Bank
Delivered impactful education and outreach programs across the community
Operated a thriving year-round market, a shared-use commercial kitchen, and maintained walk-in cooler and freezer facilities
Powered by a dedicated, collaborative working board and a growing network of food system champions
Now, we’re looking for someone who shares our passion for local food and community to help steward our finances as we continue to grow.
Treasurer Responsibilities Include:
Oversee the organization’s financial records and ensure accurate bookkeeping
Work with the board to develop and monitor the annual budget
Present financial statements at board meetings
Ensure compliance with financial policies and nonprofit reporting requirements
Coordinate with our bookkeeper and assist with preparing materials for annual tax filings
Provide strategic financial insight to support our mission-driven work
This is a volunteer position, but the impact is real and rewarding. You'll be joining a vibrant, visionary team committed to growing a more just, resilient, and delicious local food system.
