POSITION: Facility Maintenance Manager
LOCATION: Baldwin Creek Elementary (grades 4-5)
SALARY: $18.31/hr. minimum (based on 2024-25 salary schedule)
SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday, 260 days per year; full benefits
START DATE: May 14, 2025

QUALIFICATIONS: A high school diploma or equivalent is required; job-related experience is desired including supervision of employees and budget management; familiarity with HVAC systems and other building systems; computer literate; able to work with minimal supervision; current driver’s license; and ability to work effectively with administrators, students, teachers, parents, and other people with whom this position comes in contact.
JOB DESCRIPTION: The job of Facility Maintenance Manager is done for the purpose/s of planning, organizing, and directing the maintenance of school system facilities, grounds, and related equipment; ensuring that jobs are completed efficiently and within regulatory guidelines and projected deadlines; preparing and managing budgets; and ensuring optimal utilization of personnel and other resources.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Significant lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; frequent climbing and balancing; significant stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; significant fine finger dexterity; be able to work around cleaners and chemicals; and be able to work in the cold.
