POSITION: Special Education Teacher (Resource)
LOCATION: Baldwin Creek Elementary (grades 4-5)
SALARY: $52,200 minimum (based on 2025-26 salary schedule); full benefits
CONTRACT: Full-time, 185-day contract with full benefits
START DATE: August 2025

QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must hold, or be eligible to hold, a Wyoming teaching certificate with a special education endorsement or elementary education. If the candidate holds a Wyoming teacher certificate with an endorsement in elementary education, the candidate will work with students under the direction of a Special Education teacher employed by the district.

DESCRIPTION: This individual will provide quality instructional services to special education students in both extended classroom and inclusion settings. Candidates must be able to assist general and special educators in identifying and modeling effective interventions for students; teach students to read, write, problem solve, compute, how to find information, how to think, how to work cooperatively with others; and meet all district required curriculum objectives. Candidates will be responsible for collaborating with classroom teachers in an inclusive and flexible grouping situation. The teacher compiles, or works with the Special Education teacher to compile, and submit all required IEP paperwork, documentation, monthly reports, attends all required professional development activities and meetings.
